Mr. Runyan's class set off rockets in the hallway and tried to hit the admin. for extra points. It was fun to see their efforts and how far the rockets would fly.
We want to thank the district for painting and preparing our commons area for our students this year. Our custodians just finished hanging the vinyl bear head and Bear River sign. The joy around the commons is evident in the bear culture and students' activities during lunch and before and after school.
Seeing yourself twinning with teachers and students is always a fun surprise. We have the best faculty, staff, and studentbody.
It was a great day watching our students participate in the food trucks. They worked hard to earn this incentive. It's fun to see them rewarded for their efforts GO BEARS!
Thanks to Shaffer Farms for the donation of corn for husking. Students signed up to help with the husking. Thanks to some of our staff members, PTSO volunteers, and our cafeteria staff for cooking and distributing the corn. It was a fantastic event, and was fun seeing all the smiles of the students as they enjoyed their corn.
The Student Council decorated some fun pumpkins for the local PUMPKIN WALK
Mrs. Christensen attended a board meeting and accepted a grant she had applied for from Nucor Steel. Mr. Oxborrow also received a grant from Walmart. We are grateful to our community stakeholders for supporting BRMS students and staff.
It was fun to see the student's display their personalities in their costume dress up. The student council students and leaders did a fantastic job arranging the dance. A special thanks to our incredible faculty who are always willing to support our students.
It's amazing to see the support our Bears of the month received from our community. This last week has been our fundraiser and we deeply appreciate our PTSO for organizing and carrying out the fundraiser. Our students on the Principal's Committee did a fantastic job making posters and are willing to help out wherever needed. Our 8th grade ended up winning donuts as a treat on Monday.
Walking into the library in the morning is a treat! It's awe-inspiring to see the excitement around reading and all the new books. Mrs. Roberts does a fantastic job keeping our library stocked with books of interest. It's so fun to see all the excitement from the kids!
A big thank you to our counseling department, student council, employee volunteers, and community stakeholders who spent time organizing and contributing to our clothing swap. Mrs. Rose organizes this event each year and couldn't do it without the many volunteers! Thank you everyone!
The welcome back assembly was a big hit. The 8th and 9th grade competed in a minute-to-win-it game. We are so proud of the student council and how they assembled the assembly. Kudos to the student council team and their leaders for a job well done and a fun assembly enjoyed by all!
